Commit 2a95a6a on firebreath-1.7 by Richard Bateman: "Updated download link to get 1.50.0 boost"
|JuanDaugherty||14:09||master is the common line of development and 1.7 is the last freeze or what?
is presume 1.77 and 1.8x are development side lines
|taxilian||15:09||1.7 and master are the same right now
but 1.7 will be the "stable"
master just happens to be in sync with it right now
|taxilian||15:09||master is always the development branch; the numbered branches are the stable releases where we backport patches if needed|
|JuanDaugherty||15:09||is master broken right now?|
|taxilian||15:09||not that I know of|
|JuanDaugherty||15:09||just wonder cause I saw a lot sf stuff go in and then ran into that new unsolicited stuff
but just did a fork and clone and working with it
|taxilian||15:09||it should work AFAIK|
|JuanDaugherty||15:09||my github fork is just to implement a recommendation in the sources as noted in it's readme
would do the upstream link stuff but maybe later

|JuanDaugherty||16:09||musta been the x11 stuff|
|taxilian||16:09||yeah, there was a problem in the master branch
an extra x11 file that I missed
|JuanDaugherty||16:09||other than that, I've had no problem|
|taxilian||16:09||sorry about that
trying to do too many things at once
there are some build issues on x11 still, so I'm working on getting an x11 dev box up again
my last one died with my hard drive and router last week
|JuanDaugherty||16:09||my app is just windows|
|taxilian||16:09||oh, I know
but I still have to worry about all three =]
|JuanDaugherty||16:09||right, we're all way over extended but in different ways|
|JuanDaugherty||17:09||the unsolicited stream stuff does trap|
|kylehuff||17:09||taxilian: anything I can assist with in regards to the X11 issues?|
|taxilian||17:09||kylehuff: probably, if you're up to it; it's the same old "something changed, now FB_GUI_DISABLED doesn't work" thing|
|kylehuff||17:09||okay, I see. I would be more than happy to take a look at it. Tonight I am preoccupied, and part of tomorrow, but I have a 3-day weekend and could certainly make time to help track it down.|
|JuanDaugherty||17:09||but it certainly is recognizing the situation; trap is in new stream set headers|
|taxilian||17:09||cool. I'll see if I can get to it, but if you have time to play with it that'd be great|
|JuanDaugherty||17:09||yes, but will have to come back to it|
|kylehuff||17:09||certainly taxilian. do you have time for a quick (unrelated) out of band conversation?|
|taxilian||17:09||it might be slow|
|kylehuff||17:09||thats fine. it is mostly informational.|
