IRC Nick Time (GMT-7) Message
moshe 06:06 HI, I am using the SimpleStreamHelper and was womdering how i can catch error. when i use FB::SimpleStreamHelper::AsyncPost i only get success or fail. if call fails how can i find out why? for example no internet connection. or server has not responded. or ssl certificate is bad etc... - any help appriciated
dougma 06:06 it seems that using SimpleStreamHelper you can't learn anymore about why the call failed
i suppose you should use curl if you want more control
moshe 06:06 dougma - is there no way to extend SimpleStreamHelper easily to support reporting errors? it works just great but missing only that
dougma 06:06 i think the problem is that the underlying npapi interface is not detailed enough
activex url monikers provide more info. if you're IE only could be helpful
moshe 07:06 i am not only IE
do you know who wrote this helper?
dougma 07:06 his name is at the top of the file
taxilian
moshe 07:06 heis away :-)
