IRC Nick Time (GMT-7) Message
jshanab_wcw 11:05 Oops, updated to FF 4 and had to go back. It broke 3 plugins, one was the plugin i am working on. Anyone know what breaks FB plugins in FF 4? Or is it just something in my specific plugin. I am using directX 9 to display video in my plugin
taxilian 12:05 how are you installing the plugin?
what does "broke" mean?
what works, what doesn't?
jshanab_wcw: need more details =]
jshanab_wcw 12:05 Silently fails, Doesn't seem to load.
taxilian 12:05 does it show up in about:plugins?
how are you installing it?
jshanab_wcw 13:05 Double clicking on the msi. Right now I have other fish to fry so I removed FF4. I will have to try on a seperate machine later. :-( (found a nasty threaad deadlock)
taxilian 13:05 hmm. very strange. try FBTestPlugin and see if that works
when you next get to it
jshanab_wcw 13:05 ok, great idea. i just thought maybe you knew of some known breakers. Since 3 or 4 other plugins also failled or barked about being incompatible and needed removal or update
taxilian 13:05 not on windows; extensions have problems, but plugins should work fine
