taxilian 00:03 hmm. yeah, probably best
Mital 00:03 ok
taxilian 00:03 delete the buildex dir
Mital 00:03 ok
taxilian 00:03 then run the prep script and pastebin me the output
brb
Mital 00:03 http://pastebin.com/TqKVf1zv the prep output
taxilian 00:03 remember when I had you print out the sources in your projectDef.cmake file?
could you do that and send me the output?
Mital 00:03 build output http://pastebin.com/94S2QW9r
taxilian 00:03 I need to see the list of files in your SOURCES
Mital 00:03 http://pastebin.com/pXGYrGcm
list of files
taxilian 00:03 and you pulled from master and have commit https://github.com/firebreath/FireBreath/commit/c84d13b264b59c1e0dad3c3159207af4510ea366?
FireBreathBot 00:03 c84d13b by Richard Bateman: FIREBREATH-4 Removed idl entirely from inclusion list http://goo.gl/pqSo6
Mital 00:03 yeah
taxilian 00:03 hmm
I'll keep looking at it
I don't know why yours is behaving differently than mine
taxilian 00:03 Mital: I don't know. I have tried to reproduce the issue on 3 different computers and can't seem to do so; just in case, could you try cloning a fresh copy of FireBreath from master and see if that works? it's possible something got weird in your branch.
Mital 01:03 hey I would try this on other machine ... give me some time.
subzero 06:03 hey, does anyone know if it possible to access io in the firebreath plugin?
nitrogenycs 06:03 you mean like read a file from disk?
subzero 06:03 yeah
does it need any special permissions?
nitrogenycs 06:03 basically it's possible to do io
in internet explorer there's something called low integrity mode
this gives you only write access to special folders
however, you can write a broker which runs in medium integrity mode (need to set a registry key on installation of your plugin)
then you can perform file access in other folders sa well
what exactly do you want to do?
subzero 06:03 i"m writting a custom plugin to automate file downloading
nitrogenycs 06:03 ya, you should be able to do this
subzero 06:03 I havent coded in c++ for over 6 years
nitrogenycs 06:03 :)
it's not that hard
subzero 06:03 do you have an references i could use?
nitrogenycs 06:03 most of the hard things are already done in fb
subzero 06:03 thats try
great work on that
it was so easy getting started
nitrogenycs 06:03 http://www.firebreath.org/display/documentation/Getting+Started
once you have your plugin you can just code away
for downloading you might want to look into the simplestreamshelper class
http://www.firebreath.org/display/documentation/class+FB+SimpleStreamHelper
subzero 06:03 yeah i was looking into that
subzero 07:03 nitro do you know why can we not use using namespace System::IO;
nitrogenycs 07:03 c++ does not have such a namespace
as far as i know
it's not managed C++
using stl you could use things like fstream
subzero 07:03 ok thanks
gosh its been ages...
taxilian 09:03 'morning, ya'll
