|gideon||02:10||Hi I have a problem with my firebreath npapi plugin in chrome
does anybody there ?
|clampart||05:10||Ok I solved it!
The plugin is compiled with VS2010 and therefore needs msvcr100.dll
Exactly as Firefox up to v35
which therefore included msvcr100.dll
And with Firefox36 they switched to VS2012
So the solution is to include the msvcr100.dll in the plugin distribution
and from that point on they include msvcr120.dll instead of msvcr100
which you can get out of http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26999
(i.e. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update)
And somehow the dll was present on bare-metal installs and not in the VMs
