IRC Nick Time (GMT-7) Message
Enkindler 10:09 I managed now to register the plugin with regsrv32 (reading on the old documentation, I'm not sure if what I did was right), and FireFox says it's installed, but chrome doesnt show it under chrome://plugins section. Is there any other thing I should do?. Also, how do I know if the plugin is actually working?... How do I test it?
taxilian 13:09 Enkindler it won't ever show up as a chrome plugin because chrome doesn't support plugins anymore
Enkindler 13:09 Crap, That's true... How would I make it work for Chrome then?... As an extension of some sort?

taxilian 21:09 Enkindler sorry I've been in and out all day and keep forgetting to answer you
making it work on chrome is a fun / tricky thing; there is an extension that you need and you need to register a native message host; the devinstall target will put things in place that you need
here are some threads that you should read up on a bit:

doing a search of the logs may turn up some things too
basically once the extension is built and installed you will post a message to your window object and give it a callback function and it will call that
