IRC Nick Time (GMT-7) Message
taxilian 14:10 huh
never seen that
kylehuff 16:10 I must have missed it... ?
taxilian 16:10 oh, huh; there was a message here… maybe it was my client being funny and displaying something from awhile back

kylehuff 16:10 yeah, I don't see any traffic other than enter/part all the way back to your msgs about the 64 bit wix installer
speaking of installers, InstallBuilder from BitRock gives licenses to open source projects, and it is fairly robust.
taxilian 16:10 interesting
might have to look at it sometime
kylehuff 16:10 I am (reluctantly) testing it for installing my extensions native messaging host
taxilian 16:10 hehe
hehe
kylehuff 16:10 also, when I submitted a new version of my extension to mozilla add-ons for review, they strongly urged me to move away from NPAPI and use JS-CTYPES... they might be developing plans to follow chrome's lead.
taxilian 16:10 possible. have you played much with js-ctypes?
kylehuff 16:10 yeah, it wasn't too terrible. I have a mostly finished JS-CTYPES interface to my library (and I find it to be slower than NPAPI)
taxilian 16:10 heh.
heh.
think we could make a JSAPI interface to it, or too difficult?

kylehuff 16:10 it would help if I knew what exactly a JSAPI interface is... lol. I mean, I get that it is a JavaScript API interface, but I don't understand what exactly is entailed
taxilian 16:10 basically it'd be using FB::variant on the backend and having it automatically provide the js-ctypes interface
