please any any one help how to compile linphoneweb for armhf..
Guest37249 09:07 has anyone had luck creating an installer for wix and a ie 64 bit firebreath component
taxilian 09:07 yes
but not me =]
and the person who has done it isn't here
but I can maybe help you figure it out; what is happening?
actually, first question: Why are you using a 64 bit windows plugin?
actually, first question: Why are you using a 64 bit windows plugin?
Guest37249 09:07 i work for a company that would like to have all versions of ie covered (including 64 bit)
taxilian 09:07 even though pretty much nobody uses IE 64 bit? =]
Guest37249 09:07 i have compiled successfully, when i run regsrv32 the plugin works, but i can't get the installer to register the plugin correctly
taxilian 09:07 actually I think windows 8 and later may use 64 bit, but support 32 bit plugins… I don't guarantee that, but I seem to remember seeing something that indicated that
the main question is whether or not WiX heat.exe will correctly load a 64 bit DLL
Guest37249 09:07 apparently we have had users complain about it
taxilian 09:07 in your build/ directory somewhere there is a np<plugin name>.wxs file; can you pastebin it?
Guest37249 09:07 sure... do you want the np_auto.wxs?
taxilian 09:07 not initially
and I'll brb; also I have a conference call in 12 minutes, so I may not be able to help a whole lot right away
but we can eliminate a couple of likely possibilities

okay thank you
Guest37249 10:07 a couple things to note here: 1. I have tried with KeyPath=HKCU. 2. I have tried with InstallScope=perMachine.
taxilian 10:07 I guess we misunderstood each other

I need the other one
I need the other one
Guest37249 10:07 just the one with the component
?
taxilian 10:07 yeah

taxilian 10:07 yeah, your problem is that heat.exe isn't correctly harvesting the info
Guest37249 10:07 that is what i thought too.. i couldn't figure out what flags to send though
here is my heat flags

^here are
taxilian 10:07 you will have to play with it yourself and try to solve that problem
if you can solve that problem most likely it will work
Guest37249 10:07 i have read somewhere that you can use the same harvest information from the 32 bit version... i am going to test that theory
