I've just generate a test project for VS2010 but an error appears during the compilation:
Error 1 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "class boost::system::error_category const & __cdecl boost::system::generic_category(void)" ([email protected]@[email protected]@[email protected]@XZ) referenced in function "void __cdecl boost::system::`dynamic initializer for 'posix_category''(void)" ([email protected]@[email protected]@YAXXZ) ...FireBreath-master\projects\MyTest\build\projects\MyTest\ScriptingCore.lib(utf8_tools.
Could you please help me to resolve this problem?
dougma 04:04 mmm. did you use firebreath's boost?
or do you have another version of the boost library installed?
or do you have another version of the boost library installed?
debugx 04:04 yea, I've got my boost from this folder: https://github.com/firebreath/firebreath-boost
No, I don't have another boost library installed
sany 21:04 hi all, may i know how can i create a periodic timer callback on main thread?
i tried FB::Timer::getTimer(1, true, EventRunLoop); on the StaticInitialize()
i noticed my EventRunLoop does not run on main thread
taxilian 23:04 you can use FB::Timer to do it
also, you can always use scheduleOnMainThread to run something on the main thread from another thread
there is an example of using FB::Timer in https://github.com/firebreath/FireBreath/blob/master/examples/FBTestPlugin/FBTestPluginAPI.cpp
sany: I believe it actually does call the timer callback on the main thread.
I'm for bed now. sorry I didn't notice your question sooner.
