Marl 02:09 So yesterday I posted this one:
Hi, does anybody experience this one? uafxcwd.lib(afxmem.obj) : error LNK2005: "void * __cdecl operator new[](unsigned int)" ([email protected]@Z) already defined in libcpmtd.lib(newaop.obj) I'm using cmake2.8 Firebreath 1.7 prep2012.cmd to build the project and viewing and building it in VS2012
The solution is that to remove any AFX include in the project to prevent weak external linkage. Hope this will anybody that experience this kind of problem

Elirips 07:09 Hello. I'm using the firebreath'ed version of the fbVlc plugin ( https://code.google.com/p/fbvlc/wiki/Building ). I'm trying to create a setup that installs the plugin for all users, but no luck: I've added 'set(FB_ATLREG_MACHINEWIDE 1)' to pluginConfig.cmake and followed the instructions to build a new setup. But still, if I install hte plugin as admin, it is there for the admin, but not for a "standard" user (using win7 and ie
I also see that FB_ATLREG_MACHINEWIDE is defined, if I look as config.h
And the DllRegisterServer looks like this: http://pastebin.com/xMcbkSur
So what else might be wrong?
Jaikme 08:09 I need to check if an application is installed in the Windows Roaming. Fine!!! But if Mac, how do I detect the current operating system?
taxilian 08:09 Jaikme there is a static member of PluginCore that will tell you the OS
go look in the PluginCore.h file and you'll see it
Jaikme 09:09 Thanks
taxilian 09:09 it's called something really obscureā€¦ I think it might be "os"
Jaikme 09:09 we have static std::string OS
and std::string& getOS()
